IWM2024 Art for the Nation by Joe Dowden
The Biennial INTERNATIONAL WATERCOLOUR MASTERS
The IWM Exhibition is held for two weeks in May every two years
Accordingly IWM2024 is now a massive event. It is Britain’s biggest single watercolour show.
It is a fact that the number of countries represented, numbers of international masters, make IWM the must see show.
These factors combined, as well as its award wining curation and organisation, make this one of the premier watercolour painting events in the world.
IWM is staged at Lilleshall Hall TF10 9AT Shropshire England. Lilleshall is the UK’s National Sports and Conference Centre.
It is an English Heritage listed venue.
Large Italian Gardens, and glorious Shropshire countryside with all facilities on site for a great day out.
IWM2024 is two weeks filled with masterclasses and demonstrations by some of the world’s greatest living watercolour painters.
Another key point is that IWM is the first global platform in the UK for International Watercolour Painters to meet each other, as well as the public.
Interestingly although the visiting artists usually have extensive global travel behind them, IWM is often their first visit to the UK.
IWM2024 is a registered brand, owned by the internationally renowned English Watercolour Master, David Poxon.
International Watercolour Masters now has a deserving global reputation. IWM has become the contemporary art show that everyone would like to exhibit at. Article written by Joe Dowden
