Watercolour comes home

J.M.W.Turner, David Cox, Walter Langley RI, George Sandby & other English Master artists of the 18th & 19th Centuries took water colour painting to the world. Now on 15th  to May 24th 2024 the world’s leading water colour Masters come to England, for the third IWM Biennale , a unique contemporary exhibition and festival of watercolour excellence at historic Lilleshall Hall, Shropshire England.

The International Watercolour Masters exhibition now has a worldwide enviable reputation for it’s first class organisation and presentation. IWM features only Official contemporary world Masters who by their participation in IWM are inducted into the Official World Masters Academy (cr tm).

During the show many International Stars of watercolour will lead guided tours and   demonstrate their techniques in the spectacular main IWM Arena at Lilleshall.

There will be over 150 Masterpieces in the main exhibition, also paintings by Future Masters who have been discovered by entry to the world Contest (see web for more info)

The IWM organisers lead the world in modern watercolour innovation and presentation . For the first time the Top 200 entrants paintings to the IWM Contest will also be displayed on giant screens in the main show Arena.

Historic Lilleshall Hall is set in thousands of acres of glorious Shropshire countryside with many other activities on offer. Nature trails and woodland walks, restaurants and café plus all facilities are available, also discover the beautiful Capability Brown inspired gardens and park land. Entrance to the IWM Festival is by Advance ticket, there is free parking and a generous discount for groups of 10+ visitors.
