IWM 2026 Show Entry Ticket Terms and Conditions

  1. Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable
  2. Attendees must produce either their ticket or email order confirmation (digitally or printed) at the point of entry for the show to be allowed admittance.
  3. Tickets are only valid for the day(s) specified on the ticket;
    1. Except for Season Tickets (Full Access) where admittance is allowed every show day.

IWM 2026 Contest Entry Terms and Conditions

  1. The contest is open to all watercolour artists of any age worldwide.
  2. MEDIUM Watercolour works on paper only.
  3. Pencil + WC ink allowed.
  4. Acrylic, collage, crayon, pastel no more than 10% allowed
  5. No Print, photographs, reproductions
  6. No AI generated work allowed
  7. Theme unrestricted
  8. Painting may have been made at any time
  9. If you are a first place top 200 winner your painting needs to be available to send for the Live Exhibition at Lilleshall Hall, England. All information about sending your work for the show will be sent to you in your winners email in September 2025.
  10. All paintings at IWM2026 must be available for sale. A commission will be charged for sold paintings of 40%.
    If you do not want to sell your painting, you must put “NFS” instead of the price in the image title.
  11. Painting sizes – you can submit paintings in either of the following 2 sizes. You may enter a variety of the following 2 sizes. ; 380mm x 280mm (15″ x 11″) and 380mm x 560 mm (15″ x 22″). Your paintings can cover the whole paper – or you may leave a white margin no bigger than 2 cm around the painting image. Your paintings can be landscape or portrait format.
  12. Original work only – no copies or workshop class work.
  13. If using photographic reference to make your painting, you must have permission from the owner
  14. No cash alternatives to the Awards
  15. A participation hanging fee will be payable by all top 200 prize winners who exhibit in the live show. Information will be in your winners email.
  16. Judging will be undertaken by a select group of 24 Masters and Industry professionals who will see your work. The IWM Judging and scoring system has been developed to provide absolute fairness with no risk of Judging bias. It is the most honest and complete system ever devised for any art contest. Judge’s decisions are final, no correspondence will be entered into, no refunds.
  17. IWM will not be held responsible for any circumstances beyond their control
  18. By entering the competition you agree to be bound by the rules and conditions of entry
  19. If your paintings win Awards you understand and agree to reproduction of your work for press and promotion in any media
  20. Copyright remains the property of you the Artist
  21. Data collected during the entry process will only be retained and used by IWM for the purpose of show promotion, administering the Competition, and the IWM Exhibition

Workshop Terms and Conditions

  1. Full payment for the workshop  must be made to confirm the booking and reserve the place on the course.
  2. You will be contacted by your IWM workshop coordinator  by email closer to the date of your course with  all the information you need to ensure an enjoyable workshop experience.
  3. Materials lists will be sent to you nearer the date of your workshop.
  4. IWM is supported by Bromley’s Art Supplies and information will be given to enable you to purchase materials from this leading UK supplier.
  5. Workshop days are 10 am to 4.00pm in purpose ready teaching rooms adjacent to the main IWM2026 Exhibition Arena.
  6. There will be plenty of rest breaks, tea and coffee are included for workshop students, and Lilleshall has all facilities including free parking.
  7. Workshop students get free access to the Main exhibition and demonstrations on the days their workshop is running.
  8. The student will receive a refund of 75% of the amount paid if cancellation is made no later than 6 full weeks before the commencement date of the workshop.
  9. If the student cancels within 6 weeks of the workshop commencement then no refund will be given.
  10. In the event that the Organisers are forced to cancel the workshop then the student will receive a total refund of the amount paid. IWM and its servants and agents will not be liable for any breach of this agreement caused by an event or circumstance beyond our reasonable control.
  11. Data received by IWM in connection with the workshop booking will only be used by IWM to communicate IWM news or Information and will not be shared with third parties. You may opt out of receiving future communications by confirming same by Email to the organiser.
  12. In the interests of student comfort, the number of students in each workshop will be limited to ensure maximum personal attention from their tutor. Early booking therefore is recommended to avoid disappointment
  13. If you would like to change from one workshop to another, we will do our best to accommodate you if workshop spaces remain.

Jurisdiction

  1. Any disputes of any nature arising from participation, in any form, in International Watercolour Masters events are subject to the jurisdiction of the English Courts.
