What is IWM?

IWM stands for International Watercolour Masters. The IWM exhibition  features paintings by the world’s elite watercolour stars. IWM Masters are officially recognised as being at the pinnacle of their art. IWM is staged every 2 years.

Where is the IWM exhibition?

The IWM Masters of watercolor exhibition is staged in May (16 to 29) 2022 at Lilleshall Hall, Shropshire, England, TF10 9LQ. The exhibition is open daily from 10am to 4.00pm. Access to IWM2022 is by advanced ticket. Get Tickets here >>

How much is an IWM2022 ticket ?

Tickets are £8.00 in advance to view the IWM Exhibition and the live demonstrations by the Masters of watercolor at Lilleshall Hall.

Are Covid restrictions in place at IWM2022?

Lilleshall Hall and IWM will adhere to all current Government guidelines.

Is there Disabled access?

Yes. Full disabled access and disabled parking. Disabled toilets and all facilities. Entrance to the Exhibition hall is on level ground, no stairs.

Is there accommodation available?

How much to view the watercolour demonstrations ?

Watercolour demonstrations are included in the price of your ticket. They take place in the main exhibition hall. There will be at least 2 watercolor demonstrations each day during the IWM2022 Exhibition. Get Tickets here >>

How much are IWM2022 Workshops ?

A one day workshop is only £95. 2 days are £190, and 3 day workshops are £290. Workshop days are 10am to 4.00pm. Refreshments included. Workshops must be booked separately either on this website on our Workshops page or by email to Watercolour2020@gmail.com

Do I bring my own Materials and equipment to the workshop ?

Yes, bring your own equipment and materials. After booking and shortly before your scheduled workshop you will be sent an email with a specific materials list. Basic Watercolour paints, a few brushes, and paper are all that is normally required. SAA are running an art market in the main exhibition hall where you can top up on materials, or get some last minute supplies.

What time do the workshops start and end each day?

Workshops at IWM2022 start at 10.00am and finish at 4.00pm each day.

There will be plenty of rest breaks, and hot drinks are provided.

Bring a packed lunch, or if you prefer there is a café and restaurant at Lilleshall.

Can I pay on the door at IWM?

No. You must purchase a ticket in advance via the ticket outlet. This is because we have limited the capacity at IWM in the interests of customer comfort and safety.

Are the paintings for sale at IWM2022? Can I buy an IWM Painting?

Yes. All paintings in the exhibition are for sale. Paintings purchased may be collected from the Exhibition on the 29th May, or arrangements may be made for earlier collection.

Paintings may also be delivered by separate arrangement.

Discuss these arrangements with Exhibition staff.

Can I get a refund for my IWM ticket?

Refunds less booking fees are available up to 7 days prior to the date on the ticket via the outlet from which the ticket was purchased.


Can I get a refund for my booked workshop?

Refunds for workshops are subject to the Workshop T&C.

Refunds will only be made upon receipt of a completed refund form.  See your original booking form for specific information.

Are previous IWM Tickets purchased for 2020 or 2021 valid for the rescheduled IWM2022?

Yes. All prior purchased tickets will be honoured for the new dates. If you are unclear regarding the rescheduled dates then contact your ticket outlet for clarification.

How can I get to IWM2022?

Iwm2022 is at Lilleshall Hall Near Newport Shropshire TF10 9AT UK. Nearest large town with a railway station is Telford. Travel to Lilleshall by car or taxi from the nearest Train station (Telford) or Wolverhampton. Good road and rail links. Nearest airport is Birmingham (BHX).
