Jan Min Demonstration

Jan Min is driven by the pleasure he finds in creating atmosphere and lights found in the land and seascapes around him.

Using different tones and values, he captures the beauty that inhabits the places he visits, giving them a sensitivity that is strengthened with latent poetry, which he strives to convey to the viewer’s eye. Most of them are places he visits or has visited, and which captivated his attention.

As soon as there is a passionate feeling about his subject, he has a strong urge to paint it and share this emotion in his art. The emotion of making the painting goes before all else, just as purity, simplicity and the art of omitting. Only then will there be a connection with the viewer.

Jan has won many International awards and exhibited worldwide.

IWM2026 is his debut UK appearance.
