IWM2026 Contest is Launched -Jury appointed !
The IWM2026 Contest is launched and open on August 1st 2025 – it will run until the 28th August.
There will be 200 winners chosen to hang their paintings in the main exhibition at Lilleshall Hall May 13th to May 22nd 2026.
This is the greatest prize in watercolour – Hang with the Masters at IWM2026 – but there’s more !
There will also be 200 Excellence Awards winners chosen who will have their work projected onto a giant screen in the main expo hall.
The Jury for the IWM2026 Contest has been chosen and are strategically placed worldwide. They will invigilate their scores online back to IWM HQ in the UK.. The Jury will consist of Masters and Industry professionals. The voting system has been especially devised for IWM by and Oxford University Mathematics Master.
It is designed to be bias free, totally honest, and fair. It was trialled at the IWM2024 contest and worked beautifully. This system is unique to the International Watercolour Masters Organisation.
Jurors for the iwm2026 contest are ; Patricia Guzman, Joe Dowden, Pasqualino Fracasso, Michal Jasiewicz, Pablo Ruben, Xi Guo, Mona Omrani, Alex Hillkurtz, Laurie Goldstein Warren, Julio Jorge, Ali Abbas Syed, Ann Blockley RI, Deborah Walker RI, Szczepan Urbanowicz, Beatrice Cloake, Coco Nguyen, Jan Min, David Poxon RI, and Mahsa Mehdizadeh. Mahsa will coordinate the entrants from Iran.
