“My name is Deepti Singh and I am a completely self taught watercolor artist from North India . Though I am a medical graduate I always loved to sketch and paint since I was five years old. Seven years back while working as a doctor in a state run hospital, I rediscovered my interest about watercolor painting and tried to learn painting in this beautiful medium by observation and constant practice. My painting style is realistic watercolor painting with emphasis on details. Subjects with interesting play of light and Shadow always attract me.
I mostly paint florals, still life, portraits, birds and animals.”
IWM2026 is Deepti’s second IWM appearance and we are looking forward to seeing her amazing paintings in the show.
