Mary Rollins (USA)

Mary Rollins began her kinship with the natural world early in life. She would spend many hours observing her childhood farm creek, drawn in by the complexity of nature. The special connection with the outdoors continues to this day. Streams, wildflowers, and animals are favourite subjects. She obtains inspiration when hiking in the Pacific Northwest and documenting references with her camera. These field study photos serve as springboards to her paintings.

A contemporary realism painter, Mary uses the medium of watercolour to express her artist’s voice. It is her hope that people who view her paintings will feel drawn to linger in the natural world that she has captured.

Mary has received several international and national awards and she has Signature Memberships in the National Watercolor Society, The Northwest Watercolor Society, and the Watercolor Society of Oregon. Mary was a top ten winner in the International Watercolour Masters contest 2024. Her stunning paintings and consistency of style have merited the next step in her career- to be an invited Master artist at IWM2026.

Her work is represented by public and private collections across the United States.
